psalm-67-1-5-500sq

May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine on us—so that your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations. May the peoples praise you, God; may all the peoples praise you. May the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you rule the peoples with equity and guide the nations of the earth. May the peoples praise you, God; may all the peoples praise you. -Psalm 67:1-5

When we conduct our daily lives, who does the world see? Do they see supernatural grace, wisdom, strength, joy, and courage…or do they see the opposite?

Our calling is to make Him known to all corners of the earth. Agents of Light is one channel devoted to doing just that, and we all do this in our daily walk, often without realizing it. You don’t have to start a ministry…you are a walking ministry!

Don’t get me wrong…if God puts it on your heart to minister in a certain way (as He did with me to start Agents of Light), then by all means, do not ignore Him. But the common denominator is that we all minister to those around us in our walk.

This means to be more aware that you, as a child of the One True King, represent the Almighty God here on this earth, and how you walk can show evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. And this evidence is what can entice nonbelievers to ask questions…which can potentially lead to you recruiting another agent!

And yes, this means that we are aware, especially in our hardest and darkest times, that we are His children, and that He carries us. Always take refuge in Him when times are tough, rather than crumbling in your own strength. Most importantly, celebrate Him in all circumstances, not just when times are good.

He knows and sees all you face, and is with and for you.

When you remember this, you can stand up to anything the world will throw at you…and after it passes, you will still be standing. And the world will see Him in you.

Jeremy Camp’s “He Knows” reminds us that, no matter how alone or forsaken we are, He knows what we are suffering through, and is with us.
