Mothers play a special role in the life of any child. They are blessed with the gender-unique ability to bear children, feed them from their own bodies, and nurture them as they raise them up into adults. That is no easy job.
Sometimes, motherhood may come through care of others’ children, especially for women who may not be able to have children, or feed them from their own bodies. But no matter what, it’s important to recognize the gifts and responsibilities that God gives us with those gifts.
A blessing—and responsibility—of God-fearing mothers is to sustain and raise her children up in a godly manner…to set the foundation for them as their circles grow larger and larger over time. This foundation is so important as these circles start intersecting other’s circles in life.
God bless you, mothers, for your God-given work and lives comprise a legacy and labor of love through your children worldwide.
