For we walk by faith, not by sight. -2 Corinthians 5:7 (NKJV)
Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. -Ephesians 3:20 (NLT)
In 2013, my world was rocked when Jesus turned my world upside down. I’d been walking the same twisting, aimless roads for 40 years, with no destination or purpose in sight. I was just living and surviving.
But He woke me up like a jolt of coffee you can’t buy. He gave me sight beyond any sight I ever had, to see that there were many, many things in my life that needed addressing. My life of caving in and smoothing things over and avoiding things to keep the peace now came to a head, where the consequences needed to be faced.
He unplugged me from the Matrix to show me how terrible the world really was, and then put me back in to face it with that knowledge.
But Jesus told me not to worry! For He’s gone before me and suffered the worst for His children, so we could be with Him and the Father once we pass through this earth. He gave me purpose, to know that overcoming the mountains of resentment and friction and godlessness would be to His glory and fame. I could never find my purpose because I thought it was about me. My purpose is about Him!
He equipped me with His armor of light, and inside it forged a backbone to stand against anything…but it had to be earned through walking by faith, not by sight.
The old saying goes that seeing is believing. There were many in Jesus’ time who would only believe if Jesus showed them signs and wonders. But I testify to you that believing is seeing…and when you can see and walk by faith, God can miraculously work in and through you to His glory. If you or someone you know wants that, too, walk this way.

Kutless’ “What Faith Can Do” testifies to the unthinkable, impossible things God can do if we would only believe.
