Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. -Matthew 6:10 (KJV)

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. -Mark 11:24 (NIV)

*He said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked I shall return there. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away. Blessed be the name of the LORD.” -Job 1:21 (HCSB)

We live and breathe to worship and praise a God who made all things, rules over all things, and gives and takes away.

Our lives are meant to surrender completely to Him and His will and His plans. When we strive and chafe and rebel in our own strength, we stray from His perfect plan for our lives, and we suffer the consequences of our sin, borne of the very free will He blessed us with.

And yet, God already foreknew what we would do, knowing all possible outcomes and possibilities, and makes the very best–far beyond we can imagine–despite our choices. He uses all things for the good of those who are called (Romans 8:28).

No matter how poorly things are going…no matter how hot the furnace is…trust in His plans. Pray your heart to Him, and surrender all things to Him, including even what He has put in your heart. Trust all those things to Him. Trust that He gave you those dreams to encourage you to trust in Him to fulfill them, no matter how things look.

It’s true that there is nothing too hard for the Lord (Genesis 18:14). Aim to empty yourself of your plans and your will, especially when the going gets tough, because He can give and do anything…if it’s in His will.
