Our God, we thank You, and praise Your glorious name. But who am I and who are my people that we should be able to offer as generously as this? For all things come from You, and from Your hand we have given You. -1 Chronicles 29:13-14 (NASB)
Father God,
We come humbled before you, our hearts filled with thanksgiving and praise.
Thank you, Lord, for all of your gifts and blessings: the many we see, and the countless others we never will. Please help us to be ever more aware of your blessings and presence in our lives.
Father, we confess to you the sins of our hearts: _________. We heartily repent of these sins, and beg for your forgiveness. We thank you, Lord, that your forgiveness is swift and without record.
Please help us to serve you in our walk, so that the world sees you, not us, in our thoughts, words, and deeds.
We thank you, Father, for your Son’s finished work on the cross, to take away the sting of death, wash away our sins with His blood, and to secure our salvation.
We are eternally grateful and undeserving of your infinite, sacrificial love.
In Jesus’ holy and powerful name we pray.
Amen.
