Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. -James 4:8 (NKJV)
Has your life ever been so overwhelming that you just wish Jesus would beam you up and spare you any more of the suffering of this world?
God has a pressure release valve for you in this world, no matter how intense the heat, pain, or pressure: God’s presence is with you, and you only need to look past yourself and your worldly suffering to see Him. And when you do, everything else–even the intensity of the immediate circumstance–fade into the background.
The more you focus on God, the smaller the trials of this world become…the greater the distance between you and the corporeal and spiritual attacks.
God’s presence permeates every circumstance. He sees and knows all that has happened, is happening, and will happen, and is present through all of it. It is unbelievably comforting to know that He has not only accompanied you up to now, but continues to do so, and is even waiting for you at the glorious conclusion of your trials. God will be glorified through your faithful, steadfast endurance of your present trials in His great name.
No matter what you are enduring, friend, take time out and regroup in the fortress of His presence…His mercy…His forgiveness…His steadfast love and strength…which will carry you through to the other side. As one saying goes, if He takes you to it, He will take you through it!
